CARDI B FIRES BACK HARD AT RUMORS SHE COPIES NICKI MINAJ’S STYLE

Cardi B & Nicki Minaj have infamously feuded for a long time. Some fans said that Cardi was replacing Nicki right off the bat, dethroning a Queen that many still worship. It seems can’t get enough of the drama as they still continue to push the Cardi B Vs Nicki Minaj narrative.

Cardi and Nicki were in New York City this week to shoot separate music videos. Nicki reportedly filmed a music video for her single “We Go Up” featuring Fivio Foreign and Cardi B shot visuals with Kay Flock affiliate Dougie B on the same day.

Minaj’s fans took to social media to claim that Cardi copied the Queens native. They accused Cardi of stealing from Minaj’s aesthetic because both the “MotorSport” collaborators recorded music videos in NYC surrounded by local residents.

The allegations soon pulled in Cardi’s attention as she took to Instagram to clap back at the rumors. Cardi wrote on Instagram, “Y’all be trynna play wit my body like I won’t come wit receipts!” The “WAP” creator added,

My bad I had to rehearse for a movie for 2 months, shoot Facebook, go to Europe and close deals MY BAD @dougieb___ and cardi was in LA workin and we finally in NY our home to shoot this ?! Don’t play wit me I Move on my timing and I BEEN DONE THIS… talk all y’all s### make sure y’all tune in to TOUCH THE GROWN!!! And FREE F##### KAY FLOCK!!

to have a strong case against him, Kay Flock has a heavy-hitter legal team to get him out of this jam. Check out the video below to see more about what Cardi B was talking about when she said #FreeKayFlock.

Additionally, Cardi B posted a video showing text messages between herself and Kay Flock’s manager from February and earlier this month. That exchange showed Cardi saying that she sent her verse for the new song on March 15. You can check out her latest snaps below. Stay tuned to Thirsty for future updates.
